This privacy policy applies to the RemindMe! app for mobile devices, created by MindUp, LLC. The app is provided as a Freemium service on an "AS IS" basis.

What information do we obtain and how is it used?

Analytics Data: We collect pseudonymous usage analytics through Firebase Analytics, including product interaction data (e.g., app launches, screen views, settings changes) and a Firebase app instance ID. We use this information solely to analyze usage, improve app quality, and prioritize features. We do not use this data for advertising or tracking across apps and websites.

Calendar Data: RemindMe! is a read-only calendar display app. To display your calendar, the app accesses your calendar data stored locally on your device through the Apple EventKit API. We do not collect, store, or transmit your calendar content, event details, names, emails, or other personally identifiable information from your calendars to our servers or any third parties. Calendar data is only read locally on your device for display purposes and never leaves your device.

Registration is not required to use the app.

Does the app collect precise real time location information?

The app does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Third parties and transfers

We use Google Firebase (Google LLC) as our data processor for analytics. Data may be processed in the United States and the European Union. Where data is transferred outside your jurisdiction, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to safeguard your information. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Data retention

Analytics events are retained for up to 14 months and then deleted or aggregated.

Advertising and tracking

We do not use Apple’s Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or perform cross‑app tracking.

Legal basis (EEA/UK)

We process analytics data based on our legitimate interests in improving app quality, fixing bugs, and prioritizing features that benefit our users. You have the right to object to this processing at any time by disabling analytics in the app's settings.

You have the right to object to analytics processing by disabling it in the app's settings. Since we only collect pseudonymous analytics data (no personal information), individual data access, correction, or portability requests cannot be fulfilled. Previously collected analytics data will automatically expire within 14 months. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. We collect device and usage information through Firebase Analytics as described above. We do not sell your personal information. You may request information about the data we collect by contacting us at mike@mindupllc.com. A postal address for MindUp, LLC is available upon request.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can disable analytics collection at any time through the app's settings. Once disabled, no further analytics data will be collected from your device. Any previously collected analytics data will automatically expire and be deleted within 14 months.

You can also stop all collection of information by uninstalling the app using the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). The app only collects pseudonymous analytics data (not personal information). If you believe a child has used the app and you wish to disable analytics, you can do so in the app's settings. Any existing analytics data will automatically expire within 14 months. Security

We are committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We use industry-standard security measures to protect the analytics data we collect. The data is processed by Google Firebase in accordance with their security standards.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
